acceptance
by using mochi — including texting the mochi number or visiting this website — you agree to these terms. if you don't agree, don't use mochi.
the service
mochi is an AI-powered nutrition tracking service that operates via iMessage. you interact with mochi by texting a phone number. mochi provides calorie estimates, macro breakdowns, daily recaps, and coaching-style check-ins. mochi is a wellness tool, not a medical service. calorie and macro estimates are approximations. do not use mochi as a substitute for advice from a registered dietitian, physician, or other qualified healthcare provider.
acceptable use
you agree not to: • use mochi for any unlawful purpose • send abusive, threatening, or harassing messages to mochi • attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the service • share your mochi number with others to circumvent subscription limits • use mochi if you are under 13 years of age
subscription and billing
mochi offers a 3-day free trial with full access. no credit card is required for the trial. after the trial, continued access requires a paid subscription: • pro: $9/month • max: $14/month subscriptions are billed monthly. pricing is subject to change with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.
cancellation
you can cancel your mochi subscription at any time by texting "cancel" to the mochi number. cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. you retain access through the end of the period you've paid for. we do not offer partial-month refunds. if you believe you were charged in error, contact us within 14 days.
intellectual property
mochi and all associated branding, copy, and software are owned by us. you retain ownership of any content you send (meal descriptions, photos). by sending content to mochi, you grant us a limited license to process that content to provide the service.
disclaimers
mochi is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. we do not warrant that: • calorie or macro estimates are accurate • the service will be uninterrupted or error-free • results from using mochi will meet your goals nutrition data is sourced from public databases (USDA, Open Food Facts) and AI estimation. accuracy varies by food item and description clarity.
limitation of liability
to the fullest extent permitted by law, mochi and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to health outcomes, data loss, or service interruptions. our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.
governing law
these terms are governed by the laws of the United States. any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration, except where prohibited by law. you waive the right to participate in class-action lawsuits related to mochi.
changes to these terms
we may update these terms. material changes will be communicated via iMessage at least 14 days before they take effect. continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
